Growing Up to be the Parents We Want to Be

Peaceful. Playful. Present.

I’m so glad you’re here!

I started Good Roots Parenting because parent coaching helped me to navigate the wild ride of raising kids with more peace, presence, and playfulness. Do you feel stuck in your parenting? Exhausted? Have a short fuse? Repeat yourself until you are tired of your own voice? Are you tired of the power struggles? Do you want tools and support to face parenting challenges with confidence and clarity? Do you want to parent with conscious confidence, break generational patterns, and establish your own parenting way?

My mission is to support parents in fostering deep connections, making present choices with the future in mind, and enjoying the ride along the way. Together we will:

Raise good humans

by parenting with awareness, respect, and having fun.

We will be imperfect and more present.

This is where transformational parenting can begin.

*We consider a “parent” to be any adult who is a caregiver for a child.

Good Roots offers transformational parent coaching and workshops for individuals, caregivers, and organizations ready to raise children with intention—and joy.

  • You are looking for the pause button so you can find yourself, because sometimes it all just feels too overwhelming.

  • You need support to connect with your child through a messy parenting issue - maybe it’s bedtime, tantrums, getting out the door, or a picky eater.

  • You find yourself yelling, saying things 20x times, or hiding from your family when things get crazy and you want to find your peace.

You are not alone. This is a place for anyone who wants to wants to parent with connection within a supportive community. Each week is rooted in evidence-based approaches to find more peace, presence, and play for ourselves first, because we can’t give what we don’t have.

I am a fellow parent who was on the struggle bus, and I have a road map for how to move from chaos to connection. So jump in, and let’s go on a ride.

The change is real: After completing the 12 sessions, you will have a clear vision of the parent you want to be and have your own map of how to get there. You’ll have more peace and presence in your relationships at home. You will have more confidence in how your decisions align with your values. When things go wrong, you will know how to ground yourself, repair and reconnect with your child, and get back on track with less time wasted feeling guilty. You will be more aware of your feelings and be better able to model for your kids how to navigate their big emotions, too. We will celebrate every step and have fun as we learn to tap into our playfulness.

Go from losing your cool and feeling overwhelmed to:

  • Being able to hit reset and anchor yourself through challenging parenting moments.

  • Confidence in your parenting authority because you are deeply rooted in values, not fear.

  • Seeing the needs behind your kids’ behaviors so you can help them work through the root causes.

  • Taking care of yourself so you can take care of others.

The parenting children phase of life does not have to be laced with daily reactivity, struggle, and exhaustion. You don’t have to feel guilty for wishing they would just grow up already, then feel guilty again because “they are only little once”. We can enjoy the wild ride of parenting as our full selves and build relationships with our kids that will flourish into the future.
